First and foremost I would like to say thank you and I love you to my wife Christine, my son Nathaniel, and my daughter Madison. They are my shining stars that light the way everyday of my life. Without Christine none of this would be possible.....THANK YOU! January 25, 2008 Madison had her first night in the big girl bed. Daddy put the bed together with the kids help. Madison stayed in bed all night. Yeah Madison!
January 16, 2008 Added 100 or so pics from the holidays! The kids are doing very well. Nathaniel is learning to spell in pre-school and having a good time. Madison continues to add words to the vocabulary and not much slows her down. Must be second child syndrome. Christine and Jason hope the Eagles make the super bowl! December 1, 2008 Hello All, we were holed up inside yesterday due to a thunderstorm and Nathaniel wanted to make another movie. Nathaniel plugs Bakugan
September 13, 2008 Welcome back, yet again. We hope everyone in Houston made it through the storm ok. Give us a shout out Houstoner's that know the Okrepkie's. The following link goes to Nathaniel's 1st acting performance. In case you don't know who peppa pig check it out at Nickjr.com if you can find it. Anyhow here's the link. *It's a 5 MB file so it takes a little bit to load) Nathaniel Acts Out Pepa Pig w/ Special Shout Out to his Friend Jeremy. August 4, 2008 Welcome back...the updates keep on coming. Nathaniel finished his swim lessons and had a great time learning to swim. We all go to the pool and have fun. Here are the remaining videos of Nathaniel swimming including some where he jumps into the deep end of the pool and swims back to the side. We are extremely proud of Nathaniel and this accomplishment. July 18, 2008 Welcome back...the updates keep coming. Nathaniel has been doing 1 hour sessions this week and really using his hands more when swimming and beginning to get over the fear of jumping into the water. Most of these videos are Nathaniel swimming across the pool. The last 2-3 videos are from this morning and one video he uses his arms 7 times when swimming across and the other is him jumping in from the side of the pool. Enjoy! July 14, 2008 Here's one more video from today's lesson July 11, 2008 Nathaniel is a bit more than half way through his swimming lessons. Here's a couple videos of him swimming. There are two videos just click the play button to watch. June 27, 2008 The Kids page is updated with pix from May and June. Enjoy by clicking the kids link to the left. March 19, 2008 Well, it has been quite a while and I have now got some good news. I found this freeware software called Easy Thumbnails. You can literally take your digital photos that are 2-3 MB and convert them into smaller "thumbnails" in minutes. I have created a link on the left called kids. This will change as I organize a few pages for quicker updates. Right now the kids link has pictures of my trip up north to Grandma O, Ken and the kids, and Tiffany and family. There are also pictures of Nathaniel's first soccer practice. He loved soccer and I was recruited to be the assistant coach. Maybe next year I can be the head coach. Anyways....until next time and Happy Easter!
December 22, 2007 Well, been a long time since an update. Everyone is doing well and we are getting ready for Christmas. Where does the time go. We have been busy with Nathaniel at 3.5 and Madison at 15 months. There's lots to be thankful for and pictures have been uploaded to Family folder and have October and November dates. Enjoy! July 2007 (UPDATE!!!!!) Madison took her first steps last night (July 17, 2007) and we caught some of it on video. I must say she is doing very well and growing up so fast. Right Click on the link and click Save As to download the file. Then click Open to watch the movie: July 2007 Hello family and friends. It has been a while since we last posted pictures and information about our lives. The last 4 months have been very busy with the kids. New pictures from April, May and June have been added in the following folder. (There are a ton of pix and will take time to load) Family/Apr_May_June 2007/ Milestones: 1. Madison is now eating her baby food, crawling, and pulling herself up all the time. Walking probably isn't too far away 2. Nathaniel turned the Big 3 at the end of May this year and is learning the alphabet. Primarily what each letter is and what they sound like to begin spelling. He has most of the letters down and the sounds they make. (We never knew how smart kids are until now) 3. Christine continues to launch space shuttles and was promoted this year. 4. Jason is proud to join Stonefield Software as National Account Manager selling the Stonefield Query product and resigned from his sales position after 3.5 years selling quoting software. 3/4/2007 In the past two months Madison has grown a lot. She rolls over all the time and will be crawling soon. Madison was baptized on February 17th and I have added the pictures for this and others in the Family - February 2007 folder. Nathaniel got his very own digital camera (Fisher Price) for Christmas. This thing is indestructible. I have put his pictures in the Family folder too. Christine and I celebrated 5 Years of Marriage on March 2nd, 2007. It has been an awesome 5 years and having two kids just makes it the best. That is it for now. Stay tuned for more to come.
1/1/2007 HAPPY NEW YEAR! Well, 2006 was a good year for the Okrepkie's. There were many ups and a few downs, but luckily the ups were more plentiful than the downs. Christmas was lots of fun and Nathaniel really enjoyed opening presents. There are new pictures in the Holidays\Christmas_2006 of the big day. Although we lost a family member this year (Daniel Mulloy, Christine's Grandpa) we also welcomed a new member to the Okrepkie household, Madison. In other random news my co-worker Joshua and his wife Jennifer welcomed a baby girl circa 8:30 PM on New Year's Eve. A big congrats to the Buzzards! 12/15/2006 (6:00 AM) Wow, where does the time go. I guess I missed the Thanksgiving update. We spent Thanksgiving with Jason's mom (Dad went hunting up north) and had a great time. There are a few pics of this in the Holidays folder. Pictures of the Okrepkie christmas tree and season are in the Holidays\Christmas_2006 folder too. We found an awesome tree this year and finished decorating it last night. Jason went to the Jaguars v Colts game with a co-worker on Sunday, December 10, 2006. Had a good time, but wasn't much of a game. There are pics in the Jacksonville Jaguars folder if anyone wants to take a peek. That is the quick summary of things here. Feel free to drop us a line. Until next time. 10/31/2006 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Grandma and Grandpa O came over and we all went trick or treating tonight. Nathaniel was Bob the Builder and Madison was a Tootsie Roll. Everyone had a ton of fun. The Halloween photos are in the Holidays folder and new photos were just added into the Madison folder, 1st Month too. Enjoy! Here is the photo from Madison's announcement too! She is doing well, gaining weight, and keeping mom and dad up sometimes.
9/25/2006 The Okrepkie's welcomed Madison Elizabeth Okrepkie a beautiful, healthy, baby girl into the world on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 4:05 PM ET. She is 21 inches long and weighes 8 lbs 9 oz. Pictures have been uploaded into the folder named Madison for everyone to see. She is a wonderful daughter that even likes to sleep once in while and being parents once again is truly an amazing experience for Christine and Jason. Nathaniel is warming up to being a big brother and sliding into his role of the "big helper". 9/14/2006 The Okrepkie's met with the Dr. today. We are nearing the home stretch here and scheduling an induction (just in case), but don't know the date. The baby's due date is September 19, 2006 and we have chosen to wait to see boy or girl. Should we have a daughter her name will be Madison Elizabeth Okrepkie and a son Joshua Braden Okrepkie. 8/24/2006 The Okrepkie Family - Christine, Jason, Nathaniel, and Baby O have been enjoying themselves. We took Nathaniel to Disney with his grandparents this summer and to Sea World. The joy of watching a two year old hug Mickey Mouse and watch Shamu is what parenting is all about. We currently are having an artist finish up painting Nathaniel's room with a Bikini Bottom SpongeBob theme and he will be moving into his new digs soon. There will be a password protected area that will have folders of most if not all of our digital pictures available to family and friends. This way whenever we have taken photos a quick upload and everyone has access. 8/22/2006 After roughly three years hosting a web site with a whopping 10 MB of space we broke down and now have 5 GB of space for our site. There will be more to come soon and a place where all digital photos will be available. Please contact Jason or Christine for the username and password for the photo area. A co-worker of mine is lending a few lines of code for the login. We are nearing the end of August 2006 and labor day is around the corner. Last year we headed out on vacation, this year we are awaiting our second child. Please stay tuned to the web site as this will be much easier to update.
